We devised this product line for the Zombie fans. We believe that the serious fan/costumer/indie film maker, haunted house performers, etc. deserve the very best in designs and hollywood realism. Our goal is to once again change the landscape of the halloween product industry with our unique designs and award winning excellence in artistry.
"REEL F/X" began as "PRO F/X", a supplement to our motion picture income in 1996.
"PRO F/X" consisted of a line of latex appliances such as noses, horns, scars and wounds and ears that Facades FX would manufacture and market to costume shops all over the country.
For ten years, Facades FX has been one of the most prolific Halloween Prosthetic design studiosin the world wide industry, and their designs have influenced every other manufacturer on the market, since their debut in 1996.
Between 1996 and 2000, the "line" grew in popularity and scope to include over 100 items. In May of 2000 a deal was reached between Rubies Costume Company(the world's largest Halloween, costume and party product manufacturer/ wholesaler) and Facades FX to absorb the Pro F/X line into their company, where it was renamed "REEL F/X".
The line now includes character kits, small appliances, make-up, adhesives, and theatrical hair. Design and prototype work remains with Facades FX, while manufacture and sales are handled by Rubies globally. In 2010 "REEL F/X" celebrated its tenth year on the global market.

SPFX TEETH APPLIANCES & DENTURES
In addition to "REEL FX", Facades FX designed some of the first novelty dentures and character teeth on the market as a sub-line of "ProFX." This line was called "TEETH FX."
Teeth FX was sold from 1996 - 2000 and was absorbed by Rubies Costumes in 2000.

There were three style types in the "TEETH F/X" line:
- Teeth F/x - monster teeth
- Children of the Night- vampire teeth
- Yee-Haw Down Home Dentistry- hillbilly and funny teeth

TOOTHFAIRY TEETH- from 1996 - 1998 Phil Nichols was a sculptor/designer for select creature styles still sold in the Toothfairy teeth line today. You can find toothfairy teeth online, and at costume retailers.
